The wave of fortune is a cluster of favourable life lines. Once you are on it, you can glide by inertia into further fortunate coincidences — provided you do not inflate their importance. Excitement, grabbing, celebrating too hard all create excess potential that knocks you off the wave. The skill is to receive good things plainly, the way you accept an ordinary next step. Lightness is the condition that keeps the wave under your feet.
