Privacy Policy

The privacy policy for Transurfing: Daily Practice — what is stored on your device, what is ever sent anywhere, how purchases are processed, and what happens to your data. Written to be accurate about what the app and website actually do.

Last updated: 25 July 2026

This policy describes how Transurfing: Daily Practice (the app and this website) handles information. It is written to be accurate about what the product actually does — if the product changes, this document changes with it.

Short version

The app has no servers of its own, no analytics, and no tracking across apps or websites. Everything you do in the practice stays on your phone. The only data that ever leaves your device is what the app store needs to process a purchase, handled by Apple, Google and RevenueCat — not by us — and, only if you choose to sign in on the website, your account details so your progress can follow you between phone and browser.

What is stored on your device

The app saves the following locally, using your device’s standard app storage:

  • how far you are in the 60-day trail and which days you completed;
  • your current streak and the date of your last completed day;
  • your onboarding answer (how familiar you are with Transurfing);
  • your reminder and attention-ping settings;
  • whether the lifetime unlock has been purchased.

This data is never transmitted anywhere. Uninstalling the app deletes it. There is no background sync, so reinstalling starts a fresh practice — a purchase can still be restored (see below).

The website and your account

The website works fully without an account. An account is optional and exists for one reason: to sync your progress and your premium unlock between your phone and your browser.

If you sign in, we store the email address you used and a password managed by Supabase, our authentication provider. That email is used only to sign you in and to keep your data reachable on the device you use. You can delete your account data at any time — we hold nothing beyond what signing in requires, and there is no advertising, no newsletter from your sign-in, and no tracking of your browsing.

What we collect

Nothing beyond the above. There is no advertising, no third-party analytics SDK, and no tracking across apps or websites. If a newsletter is offered on the website, it is a separate, explicit opt-in with its own form — and it never merges with your practice data.

Purchases

The one-time unlock is processed by Google Play (Android) or the website’s payment provider (web). Purchase receipts are validated through RevenueCat, Inc., which acts as our purchase infrastructure provider. For this, RevenueCat receives an anonymous, randomly generated app user id, the purchase receipt issued by the store, and basic device/platform information (such as operating system version and country as reported by the store). It does not receive your name, email address or practice data.

Payment card details are never seen by the app or by us — they are handled entirely by the store or payment provider.

Notifications

The app schedules local notifications on your device (a daily reminder and, if enabled, attention pings). They are generated on the phone; no push server is involved and no notification content leaves the device. You can turn them off in the app’s Settings or in your system settings at any time.

Children

The app is not directed at children and collects no personal data from anyone, including children.

Your rights

Because the app holds no personal data on any server, there is nothing for us to export or delete on request. You control all app data directly: clear it by deleting the app. For account data on the website, sign out and delete your account through your auth provider — Supabase — or write to us and we will do it for you. For purchase records held by Google or RevenueCat, contact those companies or use their privacy request channels.

Changes

If the app or website ever starts collecting more data, this policy will be updated before that change ships, and the “last updated” date will change.
