The path of least resistance

The variant flow is the track of cause and effect connecting sectors.

Teaching

The variant flow is the track of cause and effect connecting sectors. Riding it — the path of least resistance — works far better than forcing solutions. When you push against the flow, you create friction and excess potential; when you release the pushing while keeping your direction, events begin to arrange themselves. Releasing is not passivity: you keep the intention and drop the strain. The next small step usually arrives on its own once you stop gripping the outcome.

Practice · 4 min

Choose one task you keep forcing. Drop the strain for ten minutes and let the next obvious small step come to you. Do not plan — simply stay open and act on what appears.

Evening reflection

Where in your day are you rowing against the flow instead of steering along it?
