Not every pendulum is external. Internal pendulums form around your own recurring reactions — a grievance, an anxiety, a self-image. They feed on your inner energy the same way external ones feed on your emotions. The more reliably you run the same reaction, the stronger the structure grows. The way out is to interrupt the familiar reaction once, then again, until the inner pendulum weakens. Awareness starves it.
Practice · 4 min
Name one reaction you run on autopilot — perhaps resentment or self-criticism. The next time it appears, interrupt it once with a single breath.

Which internal pendulum reliably feeds on your energy, and what is its hook?
