Imitation technique

One of the forty concepts of the practice.

The imitation technique is to act and feel as if the goal is already reality, in earnest, until the outer reality adjusts itself to match. It is not pretending for show; it is inhabiting the chosen frame as fact. The world then echoes the frame back.

Apply today

Pick one goal and perform one everyday action today as if it were already accomplished, with no fanfare. Notice the inner steadiness it brings.

Common pitfall

Acting the role for others. Imitation works inwardly; performance for an audience drains it.
